Requirements

Before installing the loader, confirm your server is supported.

• PHP: 8.1 – 8.4, 64-bit
• Operating systems: Linux and Windows
• Required PHP extensions: OpenSSL, Sodium (libsodium), Zlib — these ship with most standard PHP builds
• Access: permission to install a PHP extension and edit the php.ini your server uses

Most shared hosting plans don’t allow custom extensions — VPS and dedicated servers, where you control php.ini, are fully supported.
