Requirements

Before installing the loader, confirm your server is supported.

  • PHP: 8.1 – 8.5, 64-bit
  • Operating systems: Linux and Windows
  • Dependencies: OpenSSL only — the loader links the OpenSSL (libcrypto) library, which is present on virtually every PHP server. No other libraries, and no extra PHP extensions, are required.
  • Access: permission to install a PHP extension and edit the php.ini your server uses

Most shared hosting plans don’t allow custom extensions — VPS and dedicated servers, where you control php.ini, are fully supported.
