Install Oxrion Desktop
Oxrion Desktop is the app you use to protect code, issue licenses, restore source and keep your keys. It’s free, and available for Windows, macOS and Linux.
Download
Section titled “Download”Get the app from oxrion.com/download and install it like any desktop application.
First steps
Section titled “First steps”There is no sign-in. The app has four screens in the sidebar:
- Encoder — protect your code. Needs your Encoder Token and an internet connection.
- Licenser — issue licenses, keep a history of them and email them to customers.
- Recovery — restore source from protected files.
- Vault — keep your keys in one encrypted file.
A wifi icon next to Encoder shows that it works online; Licenser, Recovery and Vault work offline.
A good first step is to create a Vault and save your Encoder Token in it, so it is filled in for you from then on.
Settings, at the bottom of the sidebar, has the theme, language and zoom, and the list of files that never go into the output.
Prefer the terminal?
Section titled “Prefer the terminal?”The Oxrion CLI issues licenses and restores source from the command line, and can work fully air-gapped.
